Cold Brew coffee will cut any bitterness and acidity of the coffee you are brewing.  You can make coffee ready to drink, or concentrate.  Coffee ready to drink will be brewed at a 1:15 ratio.  Using 40 gm of coffee and 600 ml of water. When making  a concentrate, it is for adding milk, or tonic water.  Mixing examples are as follows.  Using a brew ratio of 1:6.  100 gm. of Coarse coffee grounds and 600 ml of water. Brew time for each is 12-24 hours.  You will have to try a few to decide what is best for you.  Brewers come in many shapes and sizes.  You can also make your own.  There are too many to list here.  Whichever method you decide on, it is usually just adding your ground coffee to a filtered container and soaking in the right amount of water for a period of time.  Simple, easy and not complex.  Once brewed, separate your grounds from the coffee liquid and pour your coffee into any container.  At this point just place it into a refrigerator for chilling.  When made for a concentrate, which will be mixed with milk or water, or ready to drink as a cold brew, it is time to enjoy!  Try different coffees and mixing methods till you find the right cold brew for you.  It is refreshing, less bitter or acidic than regular coffee and a perfect drink on a warm day.

Cold brew and iced coffee are not the same.  Cold brew is as we have indicated here.  Iced coffee is simply making coffee as you normally do and pouring it over ice.   This doesn’t change the flavor or taste, it just makes it cold.

When you are looking for something different, want a cold drink, feel free to try a cold brew.  Using our coffees recommended will give you a totally different tasting coffee and refresh you as well.
